Delete your account
Delete inside the app
- Open ChoiceBound and go to Profile.
- Open the account section.
- Select Delete account.
- Read the warning and confirm deletion.
This is the fastest method and works for email/password, Google, and guest accounts.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address connected to the account. Use the subject “ChoiceBound account deletion” and state that you want the account and associated data deleted. We may ask for limited information to verify ownership before acting.
What is deleted
The associated reader profile, preferences, story progress, choices, routes, endings, recommendation history, device installations, and push tokens are removed. The account loses access to its Tickets, Diamonds, and premium unlocks, and this cannot be undone.
What may be retained
Purchase, tax, fraud-prevention, security, support, and audit records that must be retained are separated from the reader profile, pseudonymized where practical, and may be kept for up to seven years. This limited retention is used only for legal, accounting, purchase-restoration, refund, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.
Delete some data without deleting the account
ChoiceBound also lets you reset recommendations, remove reading-profile information, reset local reading progress, change notification choices, and disable reading-activity personalization from Profile and reading preferences.
