Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the ChoiceBound app, website, accounts, stories, purchases, and related services provided by Polytude. By using ChoiceBound, you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
ChoiceBound is intended for people aged 16 and over. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian consent to use the service or make purchases, you must obtain that consent.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for information provided through your account. A guest session may be limited to one device and can be lost if the app is removed or local data is cleared. Creating or linking a permanent account helps preserve eligible progress and purchases. Do not access another person’s account or transfer your account without permission.
Stories and choices
ChoiceBound provides fictional interactive entertainment. Stories may contain romance, conflict, danger, mature themes, and content warnings. Your choices can change routes, relationships, scenes, and endings. Fictional events and characters are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or relationship advice.
Tickets, Diamonds, purchases, and ads
Tickets, Diamonds, story unlocks, and other virtual items are licensed for personal use inside ChoiceBound. They have no cash value and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged outside the service. Purchase prices, contents, and any applicable renewal terms are shown before payment. Google Play processes Android payments and its refund rules may also apply. Optional rewarded ads grant only the reward described in the app after successful completion and verification.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse ChoiceBound, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or automate access without permission, reverse engineer private services, evade purchase or access controls, upload malicious material, harass others, or use the service unlawfully.
Ownership
ChoiceBound, its original stories, artwork, software, branding, and service design are owned by Polytude or used with permission and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
Availability and changes
We may improve, update, rebalance, add, remove, or discontinue parts of ChoiceBound. We aim to preserve legitimate purchases and progress where reasonably possible, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, device limits, legal requirements, or security risks can affect access.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce these terms, or comply with law. You may stop using ChoiceBound at any time and may delete your account using the available account-deletion controls.
Disclaimers and responsibility
ChoiceBound is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Polytude is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss resulting from use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain on this page. If a material change requires notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
